Yale linguists present at NELS 47

This weekend, the 47th Annual Meeting of the North East Linguistic Society (NELS 47) is being held at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Several Yale linguists are presenting on Saturday:
- Lecturer Hadas Kotek will give a talk titled “Movement and alternatives don’t mix: A new look at wh-intervention effects”
- Maria Kouneli (BA ’14, now at NYU) will present a poster titled “The morphological expression of nominal number in Kalenjin”
- Former associate professor Gaja Jarosz (now at UMass Amherst) will deliver an invited plenary talk titled “Refining UG: Connecting Phonological Theory and Learning”
