I am a first year graduate student in Linguistics at Yale. I completed a B.A. in Linguistics and a B.S. in Brain & Cognitive Science from the University of Rochester in 2021. My interests lie at the intersection of these two fields — I want to work on the broad questions of comprehension and production, and how they relate to the human mind/brain and how it works. However, in the past, I have had fun working with many different subfields of linguistics — working on an IPA sketch of Garifuna, or looking at style shifting, or how a particular friend imitated frat boys by using unique prosodic patterns. My goal in graduate school is to grow and learn as much as I can.
