Yale phonologists participate at Phonology 2013

This weekend, several Yale linguists will be presenting at Phonology 2013, held at UMass Amherst:

• On Saturday morning, associate professor Gaja Jarosz​ will deliver a talk titled “Serial Markedness Reduction.”
• On Sunday morning, PhD candidate Shira Calamaro​ will present a poster titled “Spanish Syllable Types and Phrase Level Syllables in Stratal Harmonic Serialism.”
• On Sunday morning, associate professor Claire Bowern and PhD candidate Emily Gasser will present a poster titled “Revisiting Phonotactic Generalizations in Australian Languages.”
