Sigríður Sæunn Sigurðardóttir has published a paper on some work she has done here. The paper appears in a special issue of Nordlyd that features papers from the 34th Comparative Germanic Syntax Workshop (CGSW 34) that was held at the University of Konstanz in 2019.

The paper, titled “Icelandic V3 orders with temporal adjuncts: Investigation into prosodic breaks and syntactic parsing”, presented the results of a pilot study that investigates the effects of prosodic breaks and clause type on the possibility of getting V3. Specifically, it compared V3 patterns containing temporal adverbial clauses in Icelandic with data from West Flemish and Standard Dutch as presented by Haegeman & Greco (2018).
