Ashwini Deo and Kate Davidson in Göttingen for Sinn und Bedeutung

This year’s Sinn und Bedeutung program features two Yale semanticists: Ashwini Deo, associate professor in the Linguistics department, and Kate Davidson, postdoctoral associate in the Cognitive Science program. Ashwini is one of the keynote speakers; her address is titled “Deconstructing grammaticalization paths.” Kate is presenting a joint paper with Helen Koulidobrova (Central Connecticut State) titled “Watch your attitude: Role-shift and embedding in ASL.”
