Measured Language volume includes chapter by Emily Gasser

The proceedings of the 2012 Georgetown University Round Table on Languages and Linguistics (GURT) have recently been published by Georgetown University Press as a volume called Measured Language: Quantitative Studies of Acquisition, Assessment, and Variation. The book includes a chapter by PhD candidate Emily Gasser, titled “Subgrouping in Nusa Tenggara: The case of Bima-Sumba,” which uses computational phylogenetic techniques to reconsider the subgrouping of languages within a branch of Austronesian.
