Bob Frank presents at NELS 51
November 11, 2020
Bob Frank presented a paper “Comparing methods of tree-construction across mildly context-sensitive formalisms” at the recent NELS meeting organized by the Department of Linguistics at UQAM. This talk reported joint work with Tim Hunter (a former post-doc at Yale and current faculty member at UCLA) that explores ways of assessing the fit between the kind of dependencies found in natural language structures and a class of derivational systems for building trees.
