Alysia Harris receives Stephen Dunn Poetry Prize

PhD candidate Alysia Harris, a celebrated poet, has been awarded the Stephen Dunn Prize for poetry for her poem Crow’s Sugar. The award is named for the Pulitzer-Prize winning poet Stephen Dunn. Alysia is currently working on her dissertation, which investigates the semantic and pragmatic properties of aspectual markers in African American English.
