Students and faculty present at LabPhon 18

Mike Stern and three professors (Chelsea Sanker, Jason Shaw, and Natalie Weber) gave presentations at LabPhon 18 last week. Mike Stern gave a talk entitled “Minimal-pair-induced phonetic change over multiple timescales”. Chelsea Sanker presented a poster titled “Normalized formant values are generalized across talkers”. Jason Shaw and Natalie Weber gave a co-authored talk called “Assessing intonational grammars through simulation and classification of pitch trajectories: the case of mobile boundary tones in Blackfoot”.
