LLM Tutorial Presenters

On October 4 and October 11, six faculty members from the Department of Linguistics presented a tutorial about large language models (systems like ChatGPT) for an audience of other faculty from around Yale. The tutorial was entitled “A Scholar’s Guide to AI: The Promise and Pitfalls of Large Language Models”, and it was hosted by the SAL2 program within the Yale Faculty of Arts and Sciences, facilitated by Natalie DeVaull-Robichaud and Tamar Gendler. The faculty members who presented during the tutorial were Claire Bowern, Bob Frank, Tom McCoy, Maria Piñango, Natalie Weber, and Raffaella Zanuttini (not pictured).
