Yale Dynamics Organize Symposium at LSA 2025
The Yale Dynamics Group (presenters: Michael Stern, Manasvi Chaturvedi, Alessandra Pintado-Urbanc, Miranda Zhu, Ayla Karakaş, Herbert Zhou, and Jason Shaw) spoke at their organized symposium entitled “Dynamic Field Theory for unifying discrete and continuous aspects of linguistic representations” at the Linguistic Society of America 2025 in Philadelphia. Khalil Iskarous served as a discussant for the session. Topics presented on included speech errors, asymmetric interference effects in code-switching, production mode and phonological neighborhood density effects, sibilant-vowel phonotactics and structural priming.
