Anton joined Yale’s linguistics department as a PhD student in 2025. Prior to that, he earned a BA in linguistics from Leipzig University. His research interests straddle the line between linguistics and theoretical computer science and include formal learning theory, complexity of phonological processes, and expressivity of language modeling architectures. He is a member of CLAY lab.
