Alumn Irene Yi wins LSA abstract award

Congratulations to former Department member Irene Yi, whose paper on “Intensifier Variation and Change in Salinas, California” (coauthored by Jesus Adolfo Hermosillo, Jonatha WuWong, Yin Lin Tan and Irene Yi) won first prize for the best LSA student abstract. Irene is now a graduate student at Stanford, following a year as a post-baccalaureate researcher in the department.
