Raffaella Zanuttini gave a keynote talk, “Syntactic properties of exclamative clauses,” at the workshop “Exclamatives in Sign Languages” held in Paris on September 19, 2025. The event brought together scholars who work on a number of different sign languages, investigating how exclamations are expressed and whether exclamative sentences exhibit the hallmarks of a distinct clause type.
