Luo presents at FoxFest

In honor of Danny Fox’s 60th birthday, a special workshop was held at MIT on September 26, 2026, giving an opportunity for contributors of his festschrift to present their papers in front of a group that gathered together to celebrate Fox’s contributions to the field of linguistics.

Graduate student Richard Luo co-authored a paper titled “Interpreting Clausal Movement” with Tanya Bondarenko (Harvard), Jacob Fernandes (NYU), and Kaden Holladay. Luo and Bondarenko delivered a talk at the event; Prof. Veneeta Dayal also contributed a paper in the festschrift (now purchasable on Amazon), titled “Number Matters in the Polarity System.”
