Djugun dictionary app launched

The first Djugun dictionary app and book was launched last week. The project (funded in part by First Languages Australia) created a mobile phone dictionary from materials written down in the early 20th century by Daisy Bates, working with Billingee. Yale faculty member Claire Bowern was involved in the project, coordinating the dictionary app and providing consultation about interpreting the sources.
