Andrew Fisher and Claire Bowern quoted in article on transcription glasses

ASL Lector Andrew Fisher and Linguistics Professor Claire Bowern were interviewed for a recent article by Cathy Shufro in the Yale Alumni Magazine on automatic transcription glasses as assistive technology. Both discussed the importance of not assuming that AI-generated transcriptions are an adequate assistive technology where accurate translation or transcription is needed.
