Yale to host symposium on generics

On Saturday, November 16, the department of philosophy, department of linguistics, and program in cognitive science will sponsor the Yale Symposium on Generics. The invited speakers, who will each give 100-minute talks, are Greg Carlson (Rochester Linguistics), Bernhard Nickel (Harvard Philosophy), Sarah-Jane Leslie (Princeton Philosophy), and Sandeep Prasada (Hunter College Psychology). The symposium will take place from 9 am to 6:20 pm in Sheffield-Sterling-Strathcona (1 Prospect Street), Room 201. See the program for further details.
