Raffaella Zanuttini gave a talk entitled “Restrictions on Indexical in Directive Clauses” within the LingG Colloquium Series at the University of Goettingen, Germany, on January 12th. She presented research that she is conducting in collaboration with Miok Pak and Paul Portner, in which they observe a novel restriction on the distribution of indexical elements and discuss its implications for syntactic and semantic theory.
