Grammatical Diversity on National Grammar Day

Since 2008, March 4 has been recognized as National Grammar Day, a day to promote grammar awareness and literacy. This year, the day has been marked with much online discussion, including photo and haiku competitions, and this post describing sentences familiar to most of our syntax students. In an interview with The Atlantic, linguist and lexicographer Ben Zimmer lists the Yale Grammatical Diversity Project among sources where people with an interest in grammar and grammatical variation can learn more about the language they use every day.
