Event description:

As we near the end of the semester, Yale students are implementing their service learning projects. As part of their asynchronous studies through a pilot program with the Center for Language Study, the students have designed a variety of events and activities to learn more about Deaf culture and interact with community members using ASL.

The first event is tomorrow, at the Yale vs. Harvard game.  The students planned several ASL additions to the day, including an ASL coffee table/tailgate (flier attached) and ASL interpreted halftime show. The cheerleaders have also prepared ASL chants. The students hope to welcome and interact with Deaf community members attending the game.

The coffee table, sponsored by the Linguistics Department, will be open 9-10AM across from Payne Whitney gymnasium where the shuttle to the stadium is.

You are welcome to stop by!
