Yao-Ying Lai and Andy Zhang to present at Mental Lexicon 2016

At the Tenth International Conference on the Mental Lexicon, held this week at the University of Ottawa, PhD student Andy Zhang and PhD candidate Yao-Ying Lai will be giving presentations about their work in the Language & Brain Lab. Andy's poster, titled "A unified conceptual grounding of the locative and possessive meanings of English have: An offline and a real-time contextual priming study," represents joint work with associate professor Maria Piñango and former associate professor Ashwini Deo (Ohio State). Maria and Ashwini are also collaborators on Yao-Ying's talk, titled "Neurocognitive properties of for-adverb and the lexicon-context interface," along with Emily Foster-Hanson (Yale BA ’13, now at NYU), Cheryl Lacadie (Yale Magnetic Resonance Research Center), and R. Todd Constable (Yale Radiology & Biomedical Imaging).
