Yale linguists organize, present at Tu+ conference

Yale linguistics graduate students featured prominently on the program of the “Turkish, Turkic, and the Languages of Turkey” conference recently held at the University of Massachusetts.
Faruk Akkuʂ co-organized the event, which brought linguists from three continents to present research in the phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and historical linguistics of genetically- and areally-affiliated languages. Matt Tyler presented a poster titled, “Two types of locality in indexical shift.”
