Martín Fuchs and Sara Sánchez participate in the 2016 Hispanic Linguistics Symposium

This weekend, PhD student Martín Fuchs and PhD candidate Sara Sánchez Alonso are presenting at the 2016 Hispanic Linguistics Symposium at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Martín’s talk is titled “The progressive to imperfective shift: Empirical evidence of contextually determined variation,” and Sara’s poster is titled “Synchronic variation of ser/estar across three Spanish varieties: An experimental investigation.” Both presentations represent joint work with associate professor María Piñango and Ashwini Deo (Ohio State) in the Language & Brain Lab.
