Larry Horn presenting this week at CUNY workshop and AMPRA 2 conference at UCLA

This week Professor Larry Horn will present at two events. On Wednesday, October 15th, Larry will speak at the CUNY Pragmatics Workshop: Relevance, Games, and Communication. And on Friday, October 17th, he will present at the 2nd International Conference of the American Pragmatics Association (AMPRA), taking place the 17th-19th at UCLA. Larry will be presenting a talk titled “Trivial pursuits: On being orderly, from rhetoric to pragmatics.”

Earlier in the semester, on September 2nd, Larry also ​presented a talk, “The tangled web: a natural history of deception”, at the International Workshop on Lying and Deception, which was held at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany.
