Interview with Claire Bowern featured in LSA Member Spotlight

The Linguistic Society of America has selected Associate Professor Claire Bowern for their latest Member Spotlight. This monthly feature highlights the interests and accomplishments of an LSA member through a series of interview questions.
In the interview Claire discusses her role as a 2014-2015 Public Voices Fellow, in which she joins a group of women and under-represented minority scholars at Yale who will work with top journalists to help make academic research more accessible to the general public. Other topics Claire discusses include her latest NSF grant, and what she sees as the biggest challenges facing the field of linguistics.
