Ashwini Deo and Kate Davidson to speak at Workshop on Semantic Variation

Two Yale linguists will be presenting talks at the Workshop on Semantic Variation held at the University of Chicago this weekend. On Friday, associate professor Ashwini Deo will speak on “Variability in copula systems and the thetic-categorical contrast,” and on Saturday, cognitive science postdoc Kate Davidson will give a talk titled “Variation in semantic scales.”
