Ashwini Deo and Gaja Jarosz present at GLOW

Recently two Yale linguists, Ashwini Deo and Gaja Jarosz, presented at the 38th Generative Linguistics in the Old World (GLOW) colloquium in Paris.
 
As part of the semantics workshop on states and events, Associate Professor Ashwini Deo gave a presentation titled, “Copular contrasts and the individual-level/stage-level distinction.” 
 
Associate Professor Gaja Jarosz presented a talk titled, “Phonotactic probability and sonority sequencing in Polish initial clusters.” Her presentation was part of the phonology workshop on the implications of computation and learnability for phonological theory.
